Shipping methods are selected based on:

  • product dimensions,
  • weight,
  • destination,
  • inventory location.

Some large flooring orders may require freight delivery.

3. Delivery Estimates

Delivery dates provided at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to:

  • freight carrier disruptions,
  • supplier shortages,
  • weather conditions,
  • traffic or port delays,
  • force majeure events.

The Floor Boutique is not liable for shipping delays outside of our reasonable control.

4. Freight Deliveries

Freight shipments may be delivered curbside only.

Customers are responsible for:

  • ensuring delivery access for large trucks;
  • providing accurate delivery information;
  • arranging labor or equipment for unloading if necessary.

Additional charges may apply for:

  • re-delivery,
  • storage fees,
  • residential freight service,
  • limited access locations,
  • liftgate service.

5. Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers must inspect all products immediately upon delivery or pickup.

Any visible damage, shortages, or incorrect items must be:

  • noted on the delivery receipt,
  • photographed when possible,
  • reported to us within 48 hours of delivery.

Failure to report issues within this timeframe may result in denial of claims.

6. Installation Responsibility

Customers and installers must inspect all materials before installation.

Do not install products that appear damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Installed materials are considered accepted.

The Floor Boutique is not responsible for claims involving visible defects after installation.

7. Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on:

  • delivery location,
  • order size,
  • shipping method,
  • freight requirements.

Shipping fees are non-refundable once an order has shipped.

8. Special Orders & Backorders

Special-order, made-to-order, and backordered items may require extended lead times.

Estimated availability dates are approximate only and subject to manufacturer and supplier schedules.

Once production or shipment has begun, special orders may not be canceled.

9. Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping and contact information.

The Floor Boutique is not responsible for:

  • lost shipments,
  • delays,
  • additional delivery charges,
  • returned shipments

caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information.

10. Order Refusal or Delivery Refusal

Refused shipments or failed deliveries may be subject to:

  • return freight charges,
  • storage fees,
  • re-delivery fees,
  • restocking fees.

These amounts may be deducted from any approved refund.

11. Local Pickup

Customers selecting local pickup must verify:

  • product quantities,
  • color/shade consistency,
  • product condition

before leaving the pickup location.

Responsibility transfers to the customer once materials are picked up.
